POSITION SUMMARY: This position provides strategic leadership for all sales and marketing activities along with ownership and development of key accounts related to KSBI products and services. The successful candidate will apply strong commercial judgment, market insight, and leadership to accelerate growth across existing accounts and new business opportunities.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience
• 5-10 years of sales experience, preferably in the rubber and/or plastics industry
• Broad experience in strategic planning, business development, market research, and promotional strategy
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport, expand professional networks, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Salesforce
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes on short notice, and manage travel arrangements as needed
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Ability to represent the company professionally in customer-facing settings
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Technical or engineering background beneficial

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Lead all sales activities, including capital sales, aftermarket sales, and lab trials
• Develop the sales and marketing capabilities of sales personnel through coaching, direction, and leadership
• Review employee performance and administer compensation in alignment with budget and market conditions
• Analyze market trends and develop sales strategies to support business growth
• Develop and achieve sales budgets and forecasts
• Maintain accurate and timely sales projection reports
• Develop and meet departmental cost budgets
• Establish and maintain industry relationships that generate sales opportunities
• Expand the customer base by identifying, researching, and engaging prospective customers
• Develop and regularly update promotional materials to target identified customers
• Monitor competitor products, pricing, sales activity, and marketing initiatives
• Assist sales personnel when necessary
• Prepare and deliver presentations
• Coordinate the planning and execution of trade shows
• Review and negotiate terms and conditions of sale
• Prepare reports on business meetings and transactions
• Prepare own expense reports and approve employee expense reports
