• Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time
• Location: Danville, CA 94506
• Schedule: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Compensation: $48 - $50/hour (Based on experience) + Benefits
• Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

-> Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
• Document patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

-> Qualifications

• Active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), Rehabilitation, Sub-Acute, or Post-Acute Care preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
