Sr. Product ManagerWe are seeking a Sr. Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and commercialization of Iteris' hardware management and monitoring software and services, including VantageLink and VantageCare, spanning device monitoring, remote configuration, diagnostics, OTA updates, and lifecycle service tiers. This role also shapes the requirements and direction of the underlying hardware platform (intersection detection, sensors, edge compute, and connectivity), ensuring devices are designed for manageability, reuse, and manufacturability. Your mission is to deliver a unified, reliable, and secure management experience across the installed base that accelerates solution innovation and simplifies large-scale operations. The primary work location for this position will be determined based on the selected candidate's geographic location and business needs, with onsite work required at one of the following offices: Austin, TX; Irvine, CA; or Santa Ana, CA.What You Will Be Doing:Own the strategy, roadmap, and product requirements for device monitoring, remote configuration, diagnostics, health reporting, alerts, and OTA firmware/software update workflowsOwn the commercialization of management software and service tiers (e.g., device management, monitoring, preventative maintenance, warranty/coverage tiers, support bundles); collaborate with Sales and Marketing on positioning, TCO models, and launch plansDrive integration requirements across device firmware, cloud services, and customer-facing tools to deliver unified monitoring and management experienceCollaborate closely with other Product Managers to ensure management software and services enable bundling and upsell/cross-sell across the Iteris portfolioShape hardware product strategy and roadmap across sensors, edge compute, and connectivity, ensuring the platform is designed for manageability, reuse, and manufacturabilityTranslate customer needs and business goals into platform requirements and hardware specifications (performance, power, environmental, mounting, networking, cybersecurity, compute, storage, etc.)Partner with hardware and software engineering to define clear interface contracts and software abstraction layers that enable multi-product reusePartner with engineering, operations, and supply chain on component selection, cost targets, reliability, test plans, and BOM optimizationContribute to hardware lifecycle management (revisions, EOL/EOS, backward compatibility, and migration planning) balancing innovation with minimal customer disruptionPartner with Engineering, Quality, and Operations on certification/compliance plans and launch readiness gatesWhat You Need To Be Successful In This Role:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Information Systems or related fieldMBA/relevant advanced degree preferredOver five (5) years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of launching and managing successful products throughout their lifecycleStrong understanding of IoT technologies, including sensors, connectivity, cloud platforms, and data analyticsExperience with transportation technology preferredExperience with computer vision, artificial intelligence, and data analytics preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and be customer-facingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-makingExperience using JIRA and Confluence preferredAn understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes and associated Product Owner rolesIteris anticipates paying a base salary between $130,500 to $163,800 for this role.
