Jimmy's Breakfast & Lunch | Weekend Position (Saturday & Sunday)
Jimmy's Breakfast & Lunch is looking for an experienced Weekend Short Order Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. If you thrive under pressure, take pride in preparing high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes, and enjoy working in a busy family-owned restaurant, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast and lunch orders quickly and accurately during high-volume service
- Cook menu items to order
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all food
- Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized throughout your shift
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team to ensure timely ticket times
- Assist with prep work and cleaning duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous short order cooking experience is required
- Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy rushes
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
\Schedule
- Weekends only (Saturday & Sunday)
- Early morning availability is required.
