Position Summary

Join J. J. Keller as a QA Automation Engineer and play a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions. In this position, you'll design and maintain automated testing frameworks, collaborate with development teams, and help drive innovation and continuous improvement across our software development lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

• Designs and implements automated testing frameworks to facilitate efficient testing processes.
• Writes and maintains automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, SpecFlow.
• Works closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test cases/ test plans.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues and drive continuous improvement in the testing process.
• Analyzes test results and provides meaningful feedback to stakeholders.
• Integrates automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent testing during the development lifecycle.
• Stays current with industry trends and emerging tools and technologies in test automation; and makes recommendations on how to best utilize new technologies.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 2+ years software QA Experience using automation tools.
• Experience with automated testing tools - Selenium, SpecFlow, Appium strongly preferred.

Education:

• Associate's degree in a Computer Science or technology-related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• In lieu of degree, may consider a combination of education and related work experience.
• Certification in Software Testing or Test Automation a plus.

Computer Skills:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in C#, Java, python, or other similar languages.
• Automation Tools: Selenium, NUnit, Appium, SpecFlow preferred.
• Version Control Systems: Git or similar tools for code management.
• Knowledge of database concepts for a SQL or NoSQL database.

Other Requirements:

• Familiarity with Continuous integration and Continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to function both independently and as part of a team focused on specific deliverables and objectives.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC and BDD a plus.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time.
