Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, startup, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of gas detection monitors and panels. Duties include, but are not limited to:\n•\tInstall, commission, and configure gas detection systems, controllers, and field devices\n•\tPerform scheduled preventive maintenance, calibration, and functional testing\n•\tDiagnose system faults, troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues, and complete repairs\n•\tVerify signal outputs (4–20mA, Modbus, PLC integration) and ensure proper system operation\n•\tComplete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation\n•\tManage assigned service accounts, support contract execution, coordinate scheduling, and maintain strong customer relationships\n•\tProvide on-site customer support, technical guidance, and basic operator training
