Maintenance Technician II

The Whole Person is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to oversee facility systems, building operations, and fleet maintenance. This position serves as the primary facilities maintenance professional, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment while coordinating repairs, preventive maintenance, and vendor services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, security, and life safety systems.
• Troubleshoot facility issues and coordinate repairs with contractors and service providers.
• Manage maintenance schedules, records, and service documentation.
• Oversee maintenance and operational readiness of approximately 20 agency vehicles, including inspections, repairs, registrations, and preventive services.
• Coordinate work with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, janitorial, and other vendors.
• Support facility projects, office moves, meeting setups, and inventory management.
• Provide limited custodial support as needed and respond to facility emergencies.

Qualifications Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience.
• 2+ years coordinating fleet maintenance or vehicle service schedules.
• Experience with commercial building systems and vendor management.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred

• Fleet management or transportation operations experience.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building maintenance certification.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
