Physician Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,480–$7,670
• Practice Setting: Remote tele-radiology
• Radiology Coverage: Breast imaging, mammography, and general diagnostic radiology
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
• Start Date: January 5, 2027
• Locum Tenens Duration: Approximately 52 weeks
• Daily Productivity Expectation: Minimum of 75 RVUs per shift
• Coverage Model: Primarily a 50/50 combination of breast imaging and general radiology, with consideration for 100% mammography coverage

Breast Radiologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a breast radiologist or in a comparable breast imaging role
• Breast radiology expertise, including mammography and diagnostic breast imaging proficiency
• Current MQSA certification
• Board certification or board eligibility within five years of training
• Active, unrestricted medical license appropriate for the coverage area
• Ability to complete credentialing and provide a clean professional file for temporary privileges, when applicable
• Comfort working independently in a remote reading and tele-radiology environment

Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Radiology Responsibilities

• Interpret breast imaging studies, including mammography and related diagnostic examinations
• Provide general diagnostic radiology coverage as part of a shared clinical workload
• Deliver accurate, timely radiology interpretations while maintaining high standards of patient care
• Communicate critical findings and recommendations clearly to referring clinicians
• Meet the expected minimum productivity of 75 RVUs per shift
• Use remote radiology technology and digital workflow platforms to support efficient image review and reporting
• Collaborate with clinical teams serving patients throughout the Chattanooga regional coverage area
