SAGE Dining Services ® is seeking a dependable Part-Time Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This important role helps keep our kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and cookware, assisting with basic kitchen tasks, and supporting the culinary team as needed.

Candidates should communicate effectively in English, have basic knife skills (preferred), be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Summers off

Pay Type:

$22.00 - $23.00 Hourly

What You'll Do:

• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
• Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!
• Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.
• Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
• Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.

What You'll Need:

• Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
• Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
• Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
