Private Duty Nurse

Role Overview Seeking a compassionate Private Duty Nurse to provide personalized, one-on-one care in patients' homes. This role involves building meaningful relationships with patients and families while delivering high-quality nursing services. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct, individualized patient care following established care plans Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed Monitor and document vital signs, health status, and changes in condition Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Perform skilled procedures such as wound care, catheter management, and IV therapy Educate patients and families on care techniques, medications, and health management Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records Qualifications & Skills Active RN or LPN license in Illinois Previous experience in private duty, home health, or in-home care preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities CPR/BLS certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in the area #J-18808-Ljbffr Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care
