We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a school-based setting.

Hourly Rate Range : $22.00-$29.00 per hour

Responsibilities would include:

• Provide routine nursing care, first aid, and emergency support to students under the direction of an RN or other authorized healthcare provider.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, student care plans, and school policies.
• Monitor students with chronic or complex medical conditions, including asthma, diabetes, seizures, and severe allergies.
• Provide individualized nursing support to students throughout the school day, as assigned.
• Follow Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs).
• Assist with health screenings and other school health services within the LPN scope of practice.
• Communicate with parents, teachers, administrators, and healthcare professionals regarding student health needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records and documentation.
• Follow infection-control procedures, immunization requirements, and school health policies.
• Recognize changes in a student's condition and promptly report concerns to the supervising RN or appropriate school personnel.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Active and unrestricted Ohio LPN license issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience working with children or in a school, pediatric, or community-health setting preferred.
• Ability to follow nursing care plans, physician orders, and established clinical protocols.
• Successful completion of all required background checks and fingerprint clearances.
