Your Role & Responsibilities: As a CNA at Valley Pointe, you are the heart of our resident care. Your daily impact includes: Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and engaging them in daily activities , including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility . Assisting with transfers, ambulation and repositioning using proper safety techniques. Taking and recording vital signs Monitoring residents and reporting any changes to the licensed nurses. Assisting nurses in implementing personalized care plans. Providing accurate and timely documentation of the high-quality care you provide. Ensuring residents' needs and desires are met quickly, appropriately, and with a smile. Maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment for the residents. Providing compassionate emotional support and building positive relationshi ps with residents and families. Qualifications Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred, but new gradua tes are encouraged to apply. A valid, current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License in California in good standing. A valid, current CPR/BLS certification A compassionate, "resident-first" attitude. Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative, high-standard environment.
