Senior Manufacturing Engineer - NPI & Operations

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with 8+ years of experience in electromechanical assemblies to support New Product Introduction (NPI), process optimization, and manufacturing scale-up. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability, assembly, testing, and production efficiency while providing hands-on support to manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead NPI projects from concept through production ramp-up.
- Improve manufacturing processes using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
- Support production operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Develop work instructions, tooling, and fixturing to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with Quality teams to reduce CAPA/NCMR issues.
- Drive cost reduction and process optimization initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and support sustaining engineering efforts.
- Track and report KPIs, OKRs, and manufacturing metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with electromechanical products.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DFMA/DFX principles.
- Experience supporting product launches from concept to production.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
- Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with ERP/PLM systems; Dynamics 365/Bluestar PLM preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
