Dental hygienist

Overview: Family Dental Care of Owasso is seeking a friendly and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join an established and collaborative oral healthcare team. This position focuses on providing patient-focused preventative care and promoting oral health education within a positive, welcoming environment.
Responsibilities: Team members perform comprehensive dental patient screenings, document medical histories accurately, and execute standard dental hygiene procedures. The role involves managing preventative maintenance programs, utilizing digital imaging tools, and collaborating closely with doctors to ensure excellent care solutions.
Requirements: Candidates must possess a valid Oklahoma Dental Hygienist license and an Associate or Bachelor degree in dental hygiene. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, dependency, a team-oriented mindset, and current CPR certification are required to successfully support office operations.

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Experienced Dental Hygienist (2+ years)
• Licensed dental hygienist

Education: Associate or Bachelor degree in dental hygiene where required by state regulation.
Clinical Skills: Working knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation.
Health Screening: New hires must complete a tuberculosis test prior to starting employment.

• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Clinical Experience: Proficiency with digital x-rays, digital scanners, electronic medical record systems, Velscope, and Diagnodent.
