What You'll Do

• Provide specialized intensive care to adult patients with critical conditions such as hemorrhagic shock, sepsis, pneumonia, ARDS, stroke, and intracranial hypertension
• Manage complex procedures including external ventricular drain management, ICP monitoring, and CRRT
• Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Record system for patient documentation
• Administer and titrate vasopressors and ventilator support like mechanical ventilation, heated high flow, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Monitor and respond to patient conditions, including hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What You Need

• Valid Ohio RN license and certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• At least 2 years of ICU experience
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR software
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Oncology experience preferred but not required

About the Assignment

This position is based in a state-of-the-art ICU unit specializing in adult critical care at a prominent medical center in Columbus. The unit handles complex neuro, trauma, and medical-surgical cases requiring advanced procedures and vigilant monitoring. You will work 3 nights per week, providing high-quality nursing care that impacts patient recovery and outcomes.
