Occupational Therapist
Location: Highlands, NC
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Description: The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients admitted to the facility with a focus on rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will have a strong rehab mindset and experience in delivering effective therapy interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
- Implement treatment interventions aimed at improving patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Utilize available rehab equipment and outdoor therapy opportunities.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must possess a valid OT state license.
- BLS certification is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehab-focused setting is preferred.
