Lewy Physical Therapy is growing and hiring a Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedics position in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available. New graduates are welcome, and mentorship is provided to ensure every new hire feels fully confident and supported in their role.

About the Role

You will treat a general orthopedic caseload with some focus on the geriatric population, along with a small number of neuro and stroke patients. Manual therapy skills are valued, and the ideal candidate is a passionate, empathetic team player. Patients at Lewy Physical Therapy typically see the same therapist at each visit, allowing for meaningful continuity of care. The clinic offers both aquatic and land-based treatment programs.

Schedule

The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 7am to 7pm, Friday from 8am to 5pm, and Saturday from 7am to 1pm. Full-time availability of 40 hours per week is available and preferred. Part-time candidates will also be considered. Saturday hours are optional for interested candidates.

Compensation

Physical Therapists are paid a competitive hourly rate in the range of $50 to $60 per hour based on experience and specialty certifications, with compensation increasing based on qualifications.

Qualifications

A degree in Physical Therapy is required. Candidates must be eligible for Louisiana state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Prior experience is not required and new graduate PTs are welcome. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States without restriction.
