Required Related Experience: American Heart BLS certification

Required License/Registration/Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) ONS Certification within 6 months / 1 year after hire date

Physical Requirements: The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting, standing, walking with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs.

Shift: Monday Friday Day Shift primarily 8:00 am 5:00 pm (40 hrs/wk) other hours/schedule as needed

Job Summary: The Good Sam Professional Arts Center Specialty Care Clinic (SCC) is a multidisciplinary ambulatory clinic. This position is for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to support expanding subspecialty hematology and oncology patient office appointments in this location. (No chemo infusion will take place in this space however some clinic administered medications will be required) The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease-specific patient care to patients with serious acute and/or chronic health events or seeking healthcare to maintain their wellness. The positions responsibilities include but are not limited to skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education and clinical evaluation or interventions. This position requires working with medical professionals under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient-centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise nursing departmental policies protocols and procedures is needed to be successful.

Preferred Education/Experience: ADN or BSN with 2 years nursing experience in Oncology Hematology or Ambulatory care experience preferred
