Sales Representative / Employee Benefits

Job Summary As an Employee Benefits Sales Professional, you will act as the primary liaison among producers, customers, and the company to achieve sales goals and personal success within the greater Houston area. Your responsibilities include developing and managing a large, dynamic territory, utilizing a full range of resources to attain quota, and continuously enhancing product knowledge and sales skills. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a large, dynamic territory, incorporating both long-established producers and significant growth opportunities. Serve as the key liaison between producers, customers, and the company to drive sales goals and personal success. Utilize local services, marketing and development resources, and peer expertise to meet or exceed sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction. Continuously improve product knowledge, sales skills, and competitive intelligence through personal and formal development plans. Candidate Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of experience selling employee benefits. Life & health licensing required; if not currently licensed, must obtain upon hire. Established broker relationships within the Houston area preferred. Strong, proactive ‘hunter’ mindset with drive and resilience. Must reside in the greater Houston area and be able to travel 3 days per week within the region. Salary and Compensation Base salary plus commissions and year‑end bonuses. Total compensation range: $125K–$250K+. Benefits Medical, dental, vision and 401(k) with company matching. Annual incentive bonus plan.
