Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 4x10-hour shifts per week, Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care across a multi-suite OR environment handling a high volume and wide variety of surgical cases daily
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OR Techs, surgeons, and anesthesia in a 1:1 nurse-to-room ratio setting
• Support a robust total joint, orthopedic, general surgery, OB/GYN, urology, plastics, and ophthalmology case mix including use of robotic-assisted surgical technology
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend call on a rotating basis approximately every 6–8 weeks; call response time is 30 minutes dressed and ready to work
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of perioperative patient care
• Complete unit-specific orientation with a preceptor following general facility orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemption requests considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations including approximately 3–4 call shifts per month
• Candidate's permanent residence must be located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers with strong OR backgrounds will be considered
• Experience in high-volume OR environments with a diverse surgical case mix including orthopedics, general surgery, and robotics
• Familiarity with total joint programs and robotic-assisted surgical platforms
