Licensed Practical Nurse - GI Specialists

Job Summary Saint Luke's GI Specialists Team is now seeking an LPN for the Overland Park location. Full-time days 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., no weekends or holidays. Requires RN in Missouri or Kansas, BLS, with clinic or GI experience preferred. Responsibilities Provide support for assigned providers in GI clinics. Perform nursing triage calls, patient education, prior authorizations for infusions/special procedures and compounded drugs, in basket messages, prescription refills, and other duties as assigned. Deliver professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Screen walk-in patients and conduct telephone screening according to protocols. Educate patients on medication and injection use. Work autonomously and within a team, delegating tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) when appropriate. Cover Medical Assistant job duties as needed. Qualifications Less than 1 year of related experience. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Kansas or Missouri. Associate Degree. Licensure & Requirements KS & MO LPN license required. If dual licensure is not held at offer, a contingent offer may be made upon completion of dual licensure within 90 days of start.
