This role involves providing total patient care in a 31-bed ICU setting, with a focus on critically ill patients. The position is scheduled for night shifts every other week, supporting continuous patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Total patient care in ICU setting, involving managing critically ill patients in a 31-bed unit.
• Certifications Required: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications for NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS; minimum of 2+ years of ICU experience; additional requirements include permanent home address on submission; candidates must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Open heart experience in the cardiovascular setting is preferred.
• Additional Information: No call, no block scheduling, no floating to other units. The ICU unit has a patient ratio of 2:1, and familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records is preferred. Scrub color is royal blue.
