Data Engineer
AITA Consulting Services, Inc.
Fulltime Position Candidate will be called in person for 1 or 2 rounds New York, NY/Seattle, WA/Santa Monica, CA/Los Angeles, CA/Bristol, CT - Must be Local to the one of these Hub Location to commute if needed onsite. Can be remote for now though. Job Description:
- At least 7 years of data engineering experience developing large data pipelines
- Strong algorithmic problem-solving expertise
- Strong fundamental Python programming skills - There will be a coding assignment during interview
- Basic understanding of AWS or other cloud provider resources (S3)
- Strong SQL skills and ability to create queries to analyze complex datasets- There will be a coding assignment during interview
- Hands-on production environment experience with distributed processing systems
- Experience on Snowflake is mandatory
- Hands-on production experience with data pipeline orchestration systems such as Airflow for creating and maintaining data pipelines
- Some scripting language experience
- Willingness and ability to learn and pick up new skills
- Self-starting problem solver with an eye for detail and excellent analytical and communication skills
