Manufacturing Support Associate (Part-Time)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule: 5-8 hours per day (Flexible Day Shift)

We're seeking a dependable, hands-on Manufacturing Support Associate to help keep our facility running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and is comfortable supporting maintenance, housekeeping, material handling, and facility improvement projects.

Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance Support

Replace air, oil, and dust filters on equipment

Grease bearings, chains, and moving components as directed

Refill lubricants and fluids as needed

Assist with preventative maintenance activities

Identify and report equipment issues such as leaks, unusual noises, or visible wear

Cleaning & Housekeeping

Maintain cleanliness throughout production and work areas

Sweep, mop, and remove debris

Clean equipment exteriors and high-level surfaces

Properly dispose of trash, scrap materials, and recyclables

Keep maintenance and tool areas organized

Painting & Facility Improvements

Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, sanding, and masking

Apply paint and protective coatings to equipment, floors, and facility structures

Perform touch-up painting as needed

Material Handling & General Labor

Move materials, tools, and supplies throughout the facility

Assist maintenance technicians with projects and repairs

Restock maintenance and production supplies

Organize storage areas and maintain inventory accuracy

Grounds & Exterior Maintenance

Mow lawns and perform general landscaping duties

Assist with trimming, edging, mulching, planting, and pruning

Help maintain groundskeeping equipment

Safety & Documentation

Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Identify and report safety concerns

Complete basic maintenance logs and checklists

Communicate task progress and supply needs to supervisors

Qualifications

Previous experience in manufacturing, maintenance, landscaping, facilities, or general labor preferred

Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools

Ability to work independently after training

Strong attendance and reliability

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed

Forklift certification is a plus

Basic computer skills (Outlook, file management, etc.) preferred
