About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Australia business. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's vision to transform the way customers meet their currency needs, with a strong focus on revolutionizing the world of currency trading. This role is pivotal in leading and developing operations, managing client relationships, and driving business growth. The Managing Director will be responsible for devising and executing regional and country-specific strategies, as well as identifying key growth initiatives and opportunities for cost efficiencies. Collaboration with key stakeholders, including global function heads, and maintaining a strong relationship with the regulator are also key aspects of the position. To excel as the Managing Director, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar high-growth, international environment, with a proven track record of leadership and team development. Strong P&L responsibility, cross-cultural abilities, and a 'growth hacking' mentality are essential. The role requires a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of driving business results and maintaining a strong brand presence. Proficiency in retail aggregation platform configuration, experience with FIX and REST APIs, and working directly with liquidity providers and data vendors are beneficial. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with a practical approach to problem-solving, and will be dedicated to maintaining a culture of regulatory compliance and continuous learning within the organization.
