Senior Inspector page is loaded## Senior Inspectorlocations: Hartford, Connecticuttime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR5390**STV is seeking a Senior Inspector for our Transportation North department in Hartford, CT****Responsibilities:*** Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and verifying contractor submissions.* Oversee and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and change orders.* Assist in coordinating project schedules, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records of construction activities.* Support field inspection teams by providing technical assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to project requirements.* Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and agency representatives, to facilitate project success.**Required Qualifications:*** Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience **or** NICET Level 3 with 6 years of experience **or** MEP trade license with 6 years of experience in construction engineering and inspection.* Strong understanding of CTDOT CEI processes, contract administration, and construction documentation.* Ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.* Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.* Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site as needed.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience on transportation infrastructure projects including stations and faciliities.* Working knowledge of COMPASS and AASHTOWare Project* NETTCP – Concrete Inspector, NETTCP – HMA Paving Inspector, and ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certifications.* Professional Engineer License.Compensation Range:$97,980.00 - $111,341.00**STV offers the following benefits** • Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable) • Disability insurance • Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment • 401(k) Plan • Retirement Counseling • Employee Assistance Program • Paid Time Off (starting at 16 days) • Paid Holidays (9 days) • Back-Up Dependent Care (up to 10 days per year) • Parental Leave (up to 80 hours) • Continuing Education Program • Professional Licensure and Society MembershipsSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
