Job Opportunity: OB/GYN Physician

Our organization is actively seeking a full-time OB/GYN physician to become a part of our esteemed team at a prominent community hospital located in Albany, NY. This is a fantastic chance to join a well-established and reputable obstetrics and gynecology group that delivers cutting-edge medical care.

Our specialists in obstetrics and gynecology offer a comprehensive range of services, catering to both normal and high-risk pregnancies, along with addressing various gynecological and women's health issues. The OB/GYN program at our hospital is robust, with an impressive average of 3,700 deliveries each year. Our dedicated team includes Midwifery, OB/GYN, Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), and Level 3 NICU services.

We are looking for a physician to take on a Laborist role at our 442-bed community hospital. This position is entirely inpatient, focusing on managing laboring patients and overseeing both routine and complex deliveries, including cesarean sections. The role features a shift-based schedule, requiring three 15-hour shifts each week.

Please note that we are not accepting candidates requiring J-1 or H-1B visas for this position.

• Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Strong clinical and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional, team-oriented care
• Ability to triage, assess, supervise, and provide care for both routine and high-risk deliveries, with support from Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists

Our organization offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• An annual salary starting at $325,000. This figure represents the initial range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, or other applicable cash compensation. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please be aware that this salary range is provided in accordance with state law and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
