Description
  • Conduct evaluations using standardized assessments tailored for children, adults, and the elderly populations.
  • Create individualized treatment strategies aimed at achieving both short-term and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
  • Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions emphasizing language, fluency, voice production, and swallowing techniques.
  • Work in tandem with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to construct inclusive care plans.
  • Provide comprehensive education for patients and families to promote progress in everyday settings.
  • Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing seamless continuity of care throughout the patient's journey.
  • Ensure meticulous and timely documentation consistent with all required standards.
  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.
Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • A Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is necessary for candidates yet to achieve ASHA certification.
Certifications
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be secured within 30 days of hiring.

  • Expertise in evidence-based practices for all ages, encapsulating both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing conditions.
