- Conduct evaluations using standardized assessments tailored for children, adults, and the elderly populations.
- Create individualized treatment strategies aimed at achieving both short-term and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
- Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions emphasizing language, fluency, voice production, and swallowing techniques.
- Work in tandem with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to construct inclusive care plans.
- Provide comprehensive education for patients and families to promote progress in everyday settings.
- Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing seamless continuity of care throughout the patient's journey.
- Ensure meticulous and timely documentation consistent with all required standards.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- A Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is necessary for candidates yet to achieve ASHA certification.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be secured within 30 days of hiring.
- Expertise in evidence-based practices for all ages, encapsulating both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing conditions.
- Exceptional communication skills, fostering rapport with patients, families, and a cohesive interdisciplinary team.
