Student TA - ANI-3503 3D Animation III (Daly), F26Applicants MUST be current students at DigiPen Institute of Technology to qualify for this position. Student Employment at DigiPen is open to all currently matriculated students if they meet the qualifications for the job. Students may not work during any time when they have a class scheduled, a class is canceled, or a class ends early. Student workers must reside within the State of Washington. Remote work outside of Washington will not be permitted.Reports to: Dan DalyClass Times:Monday – 6:00 - 8:50 p.m.Essential FunctionsMust be able to provide technical and animation assistance – specific to cg animation using 3D Maya – using a strong understanding and working knowledge of Maya.Duties and ResponsibilitiesClassroom setupTechnical help and animation assistance to students on assignments and exercisesAssisting students in labs and during published office hoursMeeting students online, if requiredProviding constructive feedback for the studentsAccountable for tracking and reporting the amount of time workedWorking with other TA's & possibly covering for other class timesGeneral help & working with instructorsQualifications/CompetenciesStrong understanding and working knowledge of MayaExpertise in Maya animation tools and proceduresPossess a positive attitude toward learning and a willingness to help others excelBe comfortable interacting with other students on an instructional level as a mentorArrive on time and be prepared to attend with complete focus during work hoursSuccessfully completed ANI-350 or another 300-level CG Animation class with a B+ or higherAble to give feedback and critique in a professional mannerStrong communicatorReliable, punctual, and invested in the success of their fellow studentsBe able to work independentlyExpected dates of employment: August 31 – December 11, 2026Expected number of hours per week: 4 - 6*** Once again, students are not permitted to work during any time when they are scheduled for a class. ***Wage Range: $17.13 - $18.25 per hour, depending on number of terms worked at DigiPenRequirements to ApplyResumeCover LetterCurrent Semester Academic ScheduleDigiPen Student Employee Academic RequirementsAre currently a Matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of TechnologyGood Academic Standing – not on Academic Warning as defined in DigiPen Course CatalogA minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higherHave taken and passed ANI-350 or other 300-level CG Animation class with a B+ or betterRequirement Exceptions:It is possible to still be selected for a position with DigiPen if you do not meet the requirements above, so don't let that dissuade you from applying!
