Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:00 - 16:30) Experience: 1 year CVOR experience required License: Not specified Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: CVOR Registered Nurse for day shift, 4x10 schedule with call required. Call is split among staff, approximately 14 per month, which includes weekend call. Floating required to vascular and general surgery. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. EPIC experience is mandatory. Level 1 experience is preferred. Position involves caring for patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic procedures. Key responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures and monitoring patients pre- and post-operation. Maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety is crucial. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for optimal patient outcomes. Daily patient ratio is 3 during the day shift. The unit supports a variety of cardiac conditions and surgical interventions. A diverse range of equipment and procedures is utilized in this role. Candidates must adhere to strict safety and health protocols. Travelers will be required to complete necessary clearance before starting. All clinicians are expected to maintain high professional standards throughout their assignments.
