Plasma Center Technician

Job Description

At BioLife, we know that flexibility matters—especially for those balancing multiple commitments. That's why we're dedicated to creating meaningful part-time opportunities for our team.

This role is truly part-time, with most shifts lasting between 4 to 6 hours a day, 3+ days per week—designed to fit your life. We'll confirm your availability and shift days and times early in the interview process. And, because we value open communication, you'll always be informed about any schedule changes in advance. Our patients depend on the plasma we collect, so your reliability during your scheduled hours is greatly valued. However, our part-time roles are designed with the understanding that flexibility on both sides is key.

Whether you're looking for extra income, a way to gain valuable experience, or a schedule that fits your busy life—BioLife welcomes part-time team members just like you! Start strong with our paid, interactive training program!

• You will screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• You will use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• You will help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company approved procedures.
• You will be there for our donors, which includes working a variety of shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.

What you bring to Takeda:

• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift

• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear
• 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful
