About the Role


As an Echo Technologist, you'll play a vital role in diagnosing and supporting cardiovascular health under the guidance of the Cath Lab Manager and Department Director. You'll perform cardiac ultrasound imaging across all age groups-infant to geriatric-while being a trusted resource to patients, families, medical staff, and newer sonographers. You'll also contribute to quality improvement initiatives and help us maintain the highest standards of care.

What You'll Do

• Perform echocardiograms and related ultrasound procedures
• Ensure accurate, timely imaging in accordance with department protocols
• Assist in training and mentoring less experienced techs
• Act as a liaison for patients, families, and clinical staff
• Participate in quality assurance and process improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a cardiac echocardiography program (AMA-approved) or equivalent experience (self-study/on-the-job)
• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or CCI certification
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of national board exams in echocardiography, color Doppler, and stress testing (ARDMS)
• Previous experience in a hospital setting
