Marketing AssistantWe are seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our marketing efforts across digital platforms, print materials, and community engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of design, coordination, and hands-on marketing support, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.The Marketing Assistant will work closely with leadership and internal teams to help execute marketing strategies, maintain brand consistency, and support events, sponsorships, and campaigns.Supervision: Non-supervisory and reports directly to the Director of Development and StrategyPosition Duties:Digital Marketing & Design SupportAssist in creating visually engaging digital content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram), email campaigns, and website updatesDesign basic marketing graphics, posts, and promotional materials using tools such as Canva, Adobe, or similar platformsHelp schedule, organize, and track social media contentEnsure branding consistency across all digital channelsMarketing Collateral & Print MaterialsAssist with the design and coordination of marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, signage, handouts, and other promotional materialsCoordinate with vendors or printers as needed to ensure timely production and deliveryMaintain and update existing marketing materials as neededEvents, Sponsorships & Community OutreachSupport the planning, coordination, and execution of events, sponsorships, and community initiativesAssist with event logistics, promotional materials, and follow-up communicationsHelp track sponsorship opportunities and maintain related documentationRepresent the organization professionally at events when neededGeneral Marketing SupportAssist with campaign planning, implementation, and trackingHelp organize marketing calendars, assets, and project timelinesConduct basic market or competitor research as requestedSupport other marketing initiatives and administrative tasks as neededMinimum Qualifications:Associate's degree in business, marketing, communications or a similar field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit, stand, walk and access students/clients in various environments, bending over and lifting/holding/carrying objects found in an office environment.Ability to communicate and respond to co-worker and customer inquiries both in person and over the phone.Ability to operate a PC/laptop and to enter & retrieve information from a computer.Ability to handle varying and often high levels of stress.Ability to travel throughout the County.
