Internal Medicine Physician

Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This full-time role involves working collaboratively within a Patient Centered Medical Home team, focusing on delivering high-quality patient care. Practice Info * Outpatient, primary care services * Team-based care model including nurses, medical assistants, case and care managers, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacist clinicians, and clerical staff * Support from Patient Centered Medical Home team consisting of Clinical Pharmacists, Behavioral Health Clinicians, Care Managers, Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants along with Registered Nurses & Medical Assistants * EMR: EPIC * Practice call in rotation with the group Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses * Make professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen * Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests * Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies * Document all patient encounters and communications appropriately * Manage the provider/patient relationship * Involved in education and counseling of individuals, families, and groups * Work autonomously as well as in collaboration with other health care providers and staff as needed Compensation * Nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available * CME allowance * Fully paid malpractice insurance * Guaranteed salary for 3 years with production & quality incentives Benefits * Robust wellness program, including free access to on-site and community-based gyms, nutrition coaching and classes, wellness challenges * Robust, day one effective benefits plan consisting of medical, dental, vision and more * Exceptional retirement plans - 403b retirement savings program with both matching programs and employer contributions Shift & Schedule * Full time * FTE: 1.00 * 16-20 patients per day * 34 patient contact hours with 6 administrative hours per week Requirements * MD/DO * Board Eligible or Certified in Internal Medicine * State of New Mexico Medical License * DEA & NM Controlled Substance Registration
