Worth, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104 The Women's Center at Texas Health Ft. Worth, a MAGNET, and Maternal Level IV designated facility Work hours: Full Time Nights (6:45PM-7:15AM) for 36 hours/week, with Weekend and holiday requirements GYN/Antepartum Department highlights: Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team Women's Services (GYN/Antepartum) 27-bed unit combining GYN, High Risk Antepartum, Breast surgery and Postpartum patients Provide care to GYN, post-surgical patients - variety of surgeries to include hysterectomies, breast surgeries; Postpartum (NICU moms), and Antepartum patients (all gestation levels)

Qualifications Here's What You Need Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Nursing Diploma required BSN is preferred RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required One-year experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), or completion of an RN residency program. One year or more of GYN, Antepartum, Women's Services RN experience strongly preferred BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required Fetal monitoring (EFM) knowledge and experience is preferred What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
