Job Details

Seeking experienced Psychiatric RNs to work with youth and adolescent patients diagnosed with mental health and/or substance use disorders.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with youth/adolescent behavioral health patients

• Experience must be clearly documented on the resume, including specific patient populations and diagnoses treated

• Active RN license required

Compensation

Local Travelers

• $52/hr

• Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,872

Travel Travelers

• $2,254/week

• $28/hr taxable wage

• Housing & meals stipends included

The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing

• One year of psych experience preferred

• PMH-BC certification preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
