About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an ICU setting required. License: Current RN license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required. Must-Have: - Previous charge nurse experience preferred. - Proficiency in patient ratio management. - Experience with Epic charting system is required. Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of two years of ICU nursing experience. Candidates must have current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Nurses will be responsible for managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. The position requires proficiency in various skills including central line management and ventilator management. Candidates should be comfortable identifying and managing dysrhythmias and interpreting arterial blood gases. The ability to assist with procedural sedation and provide care for ventilated patients is essential. Flexibility with weekend and holiday shifts is required. Nurses may also be expected to float to other units as needed based on census and staffing. Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills are necessary for patient care.
