Operations Support Training Manager

The Operations Support Training Manager delivers high-quality training, onboarding, and operational support across multiple dining service locations. This role ensures teams are compliant, well-trained, and prepared to deliver safe, consistent, resident-centered hospitality. Ideal candidates have strong BOH/FOH experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support sites across Southern California.

Training & Development

• Train BOH and FOH teams in food safety, sanitation, and HACCP.
• Train teams on regulatory compliance, health-department standards, and infection-prevention practices.
• Deliver hospitality training: resident-centered service, dining etiquette, and service recovery.
• Provide operational training on SOPs, menu execution, food-production standards, allergy awareness, special diets, and therapeutic nutrition.
• Coach frontline associates, conduct skills assessments, and mentor employees into the right roles.
• Serve as a hands-on instructor and on-site support resource.

Operational Support

• Support multiple locations with daily operations, new program rollouts, and food program implementation.
• Assist with onboarding managers and directors to ensure effective leadership.
• Help launch and stabilize new Unidine and Morrison Living accounts.
• Maintain documentation, survey readiness, and compliance files.
• Track training completion and ensure employee records are accurate.

Travel & Coverage

• Travel primarily throughout Southern California, especially Los Angeles and Orange County.
• Must be comfortable traveling by car and supporting multiple sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong BOH and FOH background preferred.
• Senior living experience highly desired.
• Experience training hourly staff and improving operations.
• Ability to work independently, travel frequently, and adapt to different environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
