Assistant Manager

Job details Blaze Pizza – Assistant Manager. Location: 65 Route 4 West, Paramus, NJ 07652. Overview Blaze Pizza is seeking Assistant Managers to lead teams, maintain a positive and upbeat attitude, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced casual restaurant environment. The Assistant Manager will handle day-to-day activities and manage the restaurant in the absence of the Assistant General Manager. Responsibilities Lead through example and maintain a positive work environment. Work as part of a team and adapt to changes in a restaurant setting. Balance cash drawers, conduct inventory counts, and ensure food safety standards. Interview, hire, and train new team members to build the company brand and culture. Oversee a diverse team and maintain product quality, restaurant maintenance, and cleanliness per company standards. Provide daily feedback and performance reviews to develop and lead the team. Ensure fast, courteous, sincere, and positive guest service; collaborate to enhance the guest experience. Other duties as assigned. Expected qualifications Strong leadership, guest service, communication, and conflict resolution skills. High school diploma or GED (some college preferred). Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience. Basic knowledge of P&L statements; basic math and accounting skills. Full availability for any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work a 50-hour work week; good personal grooming. Ability to stand for 8 hours; ability to lift 35–50 pounds; ability to perform required physical tasks.
