Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a skilled TIG welder in Hoschton, GA. In this dynamic and detail-oriented role, you will be responsible for maintaining high manufacturing standards while ensuring every product meets exact specifications. Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor industrial TIG welding machinery according to strict safety and production guidelines.
- Perform critical quality checks to ensure all welded products meet exact specifications and blueprints.
- Adjust machine and welding settings as needed to optimize both weld quality and production efficiency.
- Identify, document, and report any defects, or process variances to the team.
- Assist with basic welding machine maintenance and technical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a TIG welder.
- Proven experience specifically in quality control, weld inspection, or quality assurance.
- The ability to accurately read measurements, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, a consistent work ethic, and reliable attendance.
