Inpatient Coder with RHIA/RHIT/CCS

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, an Inpatient Coder with RHIA/RHIT/CCS will perform quality hospital coding on inpatient accounts, ensuring accurate documentation and coding compliance while maintaining high productivity standards. Key responsibilities Perform quality coding on inpatient accounts, including Medicare and non-Medicare cases Maintain knowledge of ICD-10 PCS and adhere to coding guidelines and facility policies Achieve and maintain a coding accuracy of 96% while managing daily coding queues and addressing physician inquiries Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Active credentials: RHIA, RHIT, or CCS 5+ years of inpatient facility coding experience Experience with rehab inpatient facility coding (IRF/PAI) for admissions and discharges #J-18808-Ljbffr
