Civil Engineer, Indianapolis, IN

An Indianapolis-based civil / structural engineering firm on the northside of Indy is growing and looking for an entry level Civil Engineer with 0 - 6 years of experience to join their team.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients, contractors, local government officials in all phases of the project from permitting review, bidding, construction and at the ribbon cutting.
• Analyze survey reports, long-range plans, maps and other data to design new projects
• Consider budget, regulations and environmental hazards during risk-analysis stage
• Forecast design and construction timeline
• Complete and submit all permit applications to the appropriate agencies and ensuring projects are compliant throughout the design and construction stage

Civil Engineer Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• 0-8 years professional engineering experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D a plus
• F.E. Certification a plus or able to achieve within a year
