DEPARTMENT: Behavioral Health REPORTS TO: Lead SOAR Representative Supervisor SALARY: D.O.E JOB STATUS: Temporary, Non-Exempt OPEN DATE: 2/27/2024 CLOSE DATE: 3/8/2024

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a temporary position to assist the SOAR area to handle a variety of backlogged administrative duties including logging, cataloging, and filing of the SOAR representative documentation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organizes and archives records and documents under the direction of the SOAR staff. Makes copies of paperwork and distributes as needed. Uses alphabetical and numerical systems to organize paper and electronic records and documents. Checks paperwork, digital forms, and files updating or correcting documentation as needed. Updates filing systems and devises new filing and organizational and storage systems for data and documents as needed under the direction of the SOAR staff. Creates new files and provides needed information on forms and reports. Scans paper documents and verifies that scanned documents are clear and legible. Checks and corrects documentation and placement of previously filed documents. Secures and protects the privacy of the SOAR documents. Other duties as assigned to maintain and enhance the operation of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Will understand HIPAA and commitment to the importance of confidentiality in health care. Will have understanding and a strong commitment to health care ethics. Be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Must be able to pass a criminal background check under the Indian Child Protection Act and Family Act (P.L.101-630).

IMPORTANT APPLICATION CRITERIA:

    • Supporting documents: Driver's License, Tribal ID, High School Diploma/GED, Degree or professional credentials, and other supporting documents that verify required qualifications.
  • Applicants not living in the local area may submit a cover letter, resume, and supporting documents in lieu of an application as an initial statement of interest for a particular job announcement. However, the applicant must follow-up with an official Wind River Family and Community Health Care job application.
  • Applicants who have a current application on file are required to submit a letter of interest for each position in which they want to be considered for. The letter should address how they meet each qualification. Supporting documents must be attached to the letter of interest.
  • Telephone calls are not accepted in place of an employment application or letter of interest.
  • When the position qualifications require a driver's license, education, or professional credentials, the applicant must submit copies of certificates, licenses, degrees, and other supporting documentation. Applicants who do not provide supporting documents will be disqualified.
