Middle School Science Teacher

Pulaski County Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher for Pulaski County Middle School. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, holding or being eligible for a Virginia teaching license in middle school with an endorsement in the appropriate subject area, demonstrated knowledge of subject content, curriculum, and methodology of effective teaching, and the ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional programs. Skills in using multi-media and computer technology to enhance learning, establishing and maintaining effective collaborative relationships with students, peers, administrators, and parents, and demonstrated skill in oral and written communications are also required. Reports to the Principal. Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) status: Exempt. Months/Days/Hours: 10 months, 200 days, 7.5 hours per day. Salary Level: Licensed Salary Scale: 10 Month Teacher Salary.
