Description Available Shift (Monday-Friday):
- 10:30a-7:00p
- Assist Sanitation Assistants in minor equipment cleaning and sanitation.
- Assist Dish room Staff in dishwashing duties.
- Maintain hand sinks, floors, coolers and storage areas.
- Maintain chemical levels, garbage and recycle items throughout plant.
- Assist in laundry duties.
- Maintain all records as applicable.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to produce safe, quality and legal products.
- Knowledge of proper HACCP and GMP procedures and use lean manufacturing principles in all areas.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
- Ability for bending, stooping, walking, reaching, grasping, carrying are required on a constant basis. Ability to stand on feet for entire work shift, normally 8 hours, is required, however, overtime may be required during peak periods.
- Ability to problem-solve and communicate clearly.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Ability to think and work safety and work safely at all times and must follow all proper ergonomic and safety practices.
- Ability to lift 52 pounds occasionally.
- Must possess above average skills of the English language (understanding, speaking and reading). Must be able to perform simple math problems, including addition, subtraction and multiplication.
