Welder - Pay Range Paid WEEKLY $15/hr - $25/hr Welder - Essential Duties And Responsibilities Receive and understand welding symbols and select proper welding materials for fitting, painting, and shipping. Locate pieces approved by Quality Control for welding. Gather necessary equipment. Clean welded pieces for further processing. Adhere to all safety, QA/QC programs, and OSHA regulations. Work overtime and maintain punctual attendance. Perform additional functions as needed. Welder - Qualifications 1-2 years of welding experience required. Ability to read welding symbols and structural drawings. Pass a tape measure test. Ability to pass unlimited thickness groove plate tests in vertical and overhead positions using FCAW and SMAW. Capability to carbon arc gouge the backside of butt joints. Welder - Physical Demands Lift at least 80 pounds frequently. Work overtime and weekends as needed. Bend and stoop in difficult welding positions. Tolerate temperature changes, dust, and noise. All physical demands are essential functions. This position is deemed ‘safety sensitive.’ Safety is paramount at Lexicon; candidates must demonstrate the ability to uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and standards at all times. This is a condition of employment.
