What You'll Do

Install, service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, gas, and refrigeration system issues

Service rooftop units, boilers, walk-in coolers/freezers, and commercial refrigeration systems

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and system testing

Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals

Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations

Complete service reports, work orders, and required documentation

Follow OSHA, lockout/tagout, and safety procedures

Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls when needed

What We're Looking For

5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience

EPA Universal Certification

OSHA 10 Certification

Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems

Experience with rooftop units, commercial refrigeration, and walk-in coolers/freezers

Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

HVAC trade school or technical training

Experience servicing boilers and commercial air conditioning systems

Sheet metal experience

Manufacturer certifications or training (Amana, Lennox, etc.)

Experience working in hospitals, schools, retail facilities, industrial sites, or large commercial buildings

Schedule

MondayFriday

? Primarily 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Overtime available (typically 1020 hours per week)

On-call rotation averaging 34 days per month

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albany, NY.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
