Sales Support / Accounting Assistant

OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING! Position: Sales Support / Accounting Assistant Location: Vancouver, WA Pay: $18–$20/hour DOE Schedule: Full-Time WHO THEY ARE: Our client is an established Vancouver-area manufacturer that designs, produces, and supports a diverse range of specialty products. Their operation combines manufacturing, product development, order fulfillment, and customer support, creating a hands-on environment where the office team plays an important role in keeping day-to-day operations moving. They are looking for a dependable, computer-savvy individual who can take ownership of their work, stay organized, and become a reliable part of the team. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Handle day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable support Perform accurate, consistent data entry across internal systems Monitor and respond to emails and assist with general office correspondence Enter and process customer orders Create and send invoices Prepare and send purchase orders Maintain organized customer, vendor, and accounting records Learn and work within Sage BusinessWorks Research discrepancies and troubleshoot routine issues independently Assist with general clerical and administrative tasks as needed Work closely with the team while managing your own workload and priorities WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU: $18–$20/hour depending on experience Full-time, stable opportunity Paid vacation Dental benefits Consistent office-based work Opportunity to learn the company’s accounting and business software Position where independence, reliability, and problem-solving are valued WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE: Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly Accurate and efficient data-entry skills Comfortable working with email and electronic business records Ability to work independently Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Willingness to investigate issues and find solutions before escalating them Ability to prioritize multiple clerical, accounting, and order-processing responsibilities Dependable, self-directed approach to work PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Previous AP/AR, accounting support, order entry, or administrative experience Experience creating invoices or purchase orders Experience with Sage, BusinessWorks, or similar accounting/ERP software #J-18808-Ljbffr Opti Staffing
