Talent Acquisition Specialist

Speedrack Products Group, Ltd is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Quincy, MI (onsite) to help attract and hire the talent that keeps the organization moving. This role centers on building strong hiring partnerships and delivering an organized, high-quality candidate experience, from sourcing through onboarding. You will also help strengthen the company’s employment brand while maintaining recruiting practices that are compliant and efficient. Compensation: USD 66,000 to 89,000 per year. Experience: 2+ years required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and workforce planning initiatives Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for hourly, skilled trades, and professional roles Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking events, community partnerships, career fairs, and direct outreach Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates Conduct phone and virtual interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams Manage selection steps including interview feedback, references, background checks, and pre-employment requirements Prepare and extend employment offers, communicating compensation, benefits, and employment terms Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and ensure data accuracy across the hiring process Ensure recruiting activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements Promote the employment brand through social media, community engagement, educational partnerships, and networking opportunities Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions Monitor recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate quality, source effectiveness, and hiring manager satisfaction Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to support a smooth transition from candidate acceptance through onboarding Participate in new hire orientation activities as needed and recommend process improvements to enhance recruiting efficiency and candidate experience Stay current on recruiting trends, labor market conditions, and best practices Perform other duties as assigned Maintain regular, reliable attendance at the worksite for scheduled shifts, including mandatory overtime Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Equivalent combination of education and recruiting experience may be considered Two to five years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience Experience recruiting for manufacturing, industrial, skilled trades, or operations positions preferred Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS Sourcing experience using Indeed, LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to build positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners Strong organizational skills to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements Strong customer service mindset focused on exceptional candidate experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and use data to improve hiring outcomes Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with ability to work independently while collaborating across departments Professional, positive, and adaptable approach to changing business needs Benefits 401k ESOP Life AD&D Health Dental Vision STD LTD Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave Educational Assistance Identity Theft Medical and Dependent Care FSAs Voluntary Life AD&D Pet Insurance AFLAC plans Working Conditions Primarily operates in a professional office setting Occasional business travel may be required Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally Ability to operate office equipment Standard work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend work as needed to meet deadlines or attend events Work schedules may vary based on position/department Travel: up to 10% Employee must comply with all safety guidelines and workplace policies/practices Tools & Technologies Applicant Tracking System (ATS) HRIS Indeed LinkedIn Microsoft Office Suite #J-18808-Ljbffr
