Part Time Dishwasher

Join to apply for the Part Time Dishwasher role at The Goodman Group, LLC . Shifts: 4:15 pm–8 pm weekdays scheduled. Some weekends 7:45 am–2:30 pm.

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance in all dietary needs as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. You are responsible for cleaning and sorting all items that are delivered to the dish wash area and cross‑train in other areas of the kitchen.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operation of the dish machine to include scraping, soaking, stacking and racking of soiled dishes, glasses, utensils and other service wares. Return service wares to appropriate areas of storage once cleaned and sanitized. Keep all equipment (including racks, bus tubs and rack dollies) clean, sanitized and organized. Remove all refuse generated throughout the dietary department (including bagged refuse and recyclable cardboard). Responsible for maintenance of department floors which includes sweeping, mopping and scheduled stripping. Assist cooks with washing pots and pans. Clean work area according to schedules and assignments. Provide support services to other dining rooms and special programs as needed. Assist chef with preparing and/or dishing up desserts, garnishing plates, preparing and delivering room‑service trays, etc. Maintain a work environment that is clean and presents a professional image. Attend and participate in services as required by federal, state, and company requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations. Ability to understand and communicate written and verbal directions. Regular attendance, reliability and punctuality is necessary. Outstanding customer service skills. Well organized with excellent attention to detail. Aptitude to work independently with excellent time‑management skills.
